Release from APMG
APMG has just issued a press release
regarding the signing of agreements with EXIN and ISEB-BCS for their
continuation as exam institutes for ITIL qualifications. This result
will ensure a smooth transition from V2 to V3 training and exams as
well as providing continuity for existing accredited training
organizations and more certainty for their future. There will of course
be some more subtle changes but with ISEB and EXIN retaining their
positions and influence on the examinations board we can be assured of
stability. The agreement will not inhibit ISEB and EXIN in continuing
with their IT Service Quality scheme and which I believe also provides
the Forum with opportunities.
So overall this is an excellent outcome for our members and the
training community, as well as EXIN and ISEB and should ensure the
continuing growth of IT service management and the Forum. |
